Zeelon FAQ's...
What is Zeelon?
Zeelon is produced using fine fibres, giving super consistency, which is ideal for dyeing, colouring and printing.
What Zeelon products are available?
We have introduced 3 qualities, light, medium and heavy. Spunart always hold stock of all qualities.
Zeelon is available in white.
Why would I want to use Zeelon?
Different from Lutradur, its fine fibre distribution and transparency can give you good dyeing results, but just like Lutradur and Evolon, you can sew it, cut it, glue it, spray it, paint it, embroider it, distress it, print on it and it will not fray.
Zeelon is ideal for quilting, embroidery, printing (block printing), artists and teachers.
It colours well using a range of wet products, crayons, procion dyes and is suitable for transfer printing onto.
You can use a wide range of paints an dyes, just as you can with Lutradur and Evolon.
Printing and transfer printing again works well, particularly with Zeelon Medium.
Can I use heat to distress Zeelon?
Finer than Lutradur, Zeelon retains some of its softness when melted with a heat gun. We always recommend you avoid breathing in the vapours, working in a well ventilated area and wearing a respirator.
Can I use Zeelon with Lutradur and Evolon?
Yes, it will complement both Evolon and Lutradur.
You can either purchase directly and safely online using your credit card or, if you prefer, by calling ++44 (0)1332 554610.
